Greencor Group Branding Demo

Logo Introduction

An all-lowercase logo looks approachable and friendly. It feels casual and accessible, and “happy”. This is the inspiration behind the simplicity and modern look. The letters themselves are not a font but specifically designed to work together to form the greencor look. The first R is cut with a slight curve to fit well with the E. The second E is slanted to show diversity and also points “forward” and “upwards” – this denotes forward thinking and success. The letters are also kerned close to each other that represents a tight integration between the subsidiary companies. If you look closely you will see a “smile” in the G – this was purposely designed. The word group is small but STRONG… representing a small group but strong with a firm foundation.

The symbol is inspired from the @ sign. At first glance it may look like the @ sign but you will soon realize it is the G that is hugged by a circle. The G represents the different companies while at the same time is the umbrella or the holding company – in which the circle encompasses it all. The inspiration of the @ sign is to show the different companies @greencor…. (transport@ [at] greencor, agriculture@ [at] greencor etc)… showing that all subsidiary companies “belong” to greencor group.

The colors represent Earth.

Green is one of the more restful colors, as it doesn’t force the eye to make any adjustments. The color suggests a sense of balance and calm as well as a connection to nature. Brands which are looking to portray an opportunity for fresh starts and security can consider green as a way to relax the mind.

Brown : The deep hues of brown inspire a sense of seriousness without black’s stronger overtones. It remains softer and its connection to natural tones makes it a more grounded choice. Brands looking to portray a sense of quiet supportiveness and reliability could do well with brown.
