I completed a 3 year full time graphic design course at The Johannesburg Art Foundation in 1993, gained excellent first-hand tuition from talented, experienced and not only lecturers, but superb graphic designers – Denis Lees and Phillip Denn. I’ve always loved art, drawing and being creative. I remember my school books having the best drawings and well designed covers written in calligraphy. Art is in my blood.
I later worked in various local and international design companies and in 1995 won first prize from the Biological Science Department in Sydney Australia for a poster design.
In 1996 I joined the team at Digital Arts Animation Studio, producing 2D and 3D animation for local and international television, assisted in graphic design and video compositing and editing. This gave me great access and exposure to hardware such as Silicon Graphics, Amiga, Apple and DEC Alpha and software Adobe, Corel, Alias (Autodesk) and many others.
In November 1998 I founded theimagehouse design studio.
